Does a rocket scientist and an aspiring theologian seem like a strange pair to you? Jenn (an MDiv graduate) works in the admissions department at Denver Seminary, and Jonathan's day job is engineering satellites at Lockheed Martin. But, you won't need to look far beyond the careers to find a ton of common interests. The happy couple loves the Colorado outdoors. We hike, bike, drive, snowshoe and ski in those mountains all year round. We enjoy the urban flair that Denver offers its residents: a stellar restaurant scene, theater, arts and music.

As much as we like Denver, we both have the travel itch, too. Over the years, both of us have traveled to far-flung locations such as Panama, China, and France. So if you have trouble finding us in the next several years, leave a message and we'll call you back when our passports cool from a big travel circuit.

In many ways, though, the defining characteristic in our relationship has been two people in their late 20's, with their entire lives ahead of them and still earnestly searching for how they can make the most impact for the cause of Christ. Whether that's through teaching, student development, business management, church ministry, or even sending people to the moon, both of us feel like we're still on a quest to find the niche that ignites our passions and that will make a difference. By God's grace, we're convinced that we will be more effective in this quest together, supporting and complementing each other, instead of going it alone.

In an attempt to give our friends and family the same fantastic experience that we have had of Colorado in the Fall time, we have planned an outdoor ceremony near the mountains followed by picnic reception held in a renovated barn on an old Colorado homestead. Plan to be outside with us most of the day, celebrating our marriage in the full-strength Colorado sunshine.
